UCLA School of Law professor Angela Riley was named by Harvard Law International Women’s Day Exhibit Committee as among 25 “Women Inspiring Change” honorees in 2016. The third annual exhibit showcases the outstanding contributions of women around the world to the area of law and policy.
Riley's work focuses on issues related to indigenous peoples' rights, with a particular emphasis on cultural property and native governance. She serves as director of UCLA Law’s M.A./J.D. Joint Degree Program in Law and American Indian Studies and co-director of the Native Nations Law and Policy Center.
