On Friday, April 27 the Division of Humanities in the UCLA College is hosting its final Humanities Dialogue on the topic of “democracy.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss democracy with regards to life experience, background, studies and knowledge of cultural phenomena with UCLA faculty, staff and students.
The dialogue on democracy is the last of the humanities division’s year-long series. The series culminates in a final symposium during which participants who have attended at least two discussions can present for 10 minutes on their research. The presenters will compete for a vareity of prizes, including a $300 award for the best presentation. The final symposium will take place Friday, June 1 in Royce Hall.
The dialogue will begin at 1 p.m. in Royce Hall room 342. The event is free and open to the public but RSVP is requested.
