April 7: ‘Satan’s Biography, from Beginnings to Pepys’ London’

Satan’s biblical evolution from celestial judge to corruptor of humans is the subject of this year’s Samuel Pepys Lecture by Distinguished Research Professor of English Henry Ansgar Kelly, on Thursday, April 7, 6-7 p.m. at the UCLA Faculty Center. The lecture is hosted by the UCLA Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
