Trombonist Michael Vlatkovich and his septet of versatile improvisers will perform in a free concert in the Hammer Museum’s courtyard. Entertaining to all audiences, Vlatkovich’s septet is known for blending familiar musical genres with an irreverent and innovative playfulness.
The concert is a part of the Hammer Museum’s 11th annual JazzPOP series. Curated by Lisa Mezzacappa, the free drop-in concerts continue with Sheldon Brown Ensemble on August 18.
