Stomp, clap and strike a pose with flamenco dancer Linda Andrade teaching the basics at "Family Jam: Strut Your Stuff: Flamenco for Families" at UCLA's Fowler Museum on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2-4 p.m. Afterwards, create festive taps for your shoes in a hands-on art-making activity.
At 4 p.m., Summer Concert on the Green: Rangoli Dance Company presents Bharatanatyam, a vibrant south Indian dance form which uses strong technique, storytelling, and intricate gestures and expressions. The highly regarded company was formed by UCLA alumnus Malathi Iyengar in 1992.
