The Flux Screening Series, a collaboration between UCLA’s Hammer Museum and Flux, presents Michael Mohan's “Pink Grapefruit” along with other films and videos on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 7:30 p..m. at the Billy Wilder Theater. The ongoing series presents innovative short films, music videos, features, filmmaker retrospectives and visual work from around the globe.
Special guests for the evening include filmmakers Mohan, Clara Aranovich, Brian Billow, Nathan Johnson, Carlos Lopez Estrada and Colin Tilley. Also screening will be new music videos for Hot Chip, Son Lux, Tyler the Creator and others. Filmmaker presentations and a courtyard after-party will follow the screening.
The event is free, but tickets are required and available at the box office one hour before the program. One ticket per person; first-come, first-served. Early arrival is recommended. Find more information at the Hammer.
