Carol Bugé has been appointed assistant vice chancellor of donor engagement in UCLA Development, a position in which she will oversee a new unit that integrates donor relations, gift and data processing, fund management, development events, campaign operations, gift policy and resource and prospect management.
Bugé’s promotion was announced to the campus in a letter from Associate Vice Chancellor Nicholas Goldsborough, who wrote, “There is no person better suited to champion these areas than Carol Bugé. Her wealth of institutional knowledge and management experience makes her uniquely qualified to lead this group.”
A UCLA staff member since 1993, Bugé has held a series of positions with increasing levels of responsibility: director of development research; director of campaign operations for Campaign UCLA; and director and, most recently, executive director of donor relations and development services.
