Join Kristy Edmunds, artistic and executive director of the Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA (CAP UCLA) for Arts Exchange on Monday, May 12, 5 p.m. in the Royce Hall West Lobby. Enjoy drinks and light bites and engage in conversation with Edmunds and members of her staff about collaborations between the center and campus colleagues.
Edmunds will highlight the center’s myriad connections to research, academic departments and extracurricular activities, and she hopes to hear from colleagues about how to deepen and extend those connections with both arts-related and non-arts-related departments.
Information will also be shared about the center’s new “Student Passport Program, which is designed to connect the artists and performances and ideas they bring to UCLA with curriculum across this campus. In this new ticket-package program, CAPS UCLA will work with faculty and departments to develop a specially curated series of performances to enrich students’ course of study and broaden their relationship to the arts.
Information will also be provided on CAPS UCLA's new flat-rate $25 ticket prices for all UCLA faculty and staff.
