Cathryn Leff, patient liaison/analyst at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, has been appointed to the board of directors of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. A licensed marriage and family therapist since 1996, she also founded and served as president of the Southwest Riverside County California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
At UCLA, Leff connects with patients in the medical center’s emergency department to proactively seek improvements and develop programs that will enhance patients' stay. Her previous work includes conducting mental health evaluations of hospital patients and working with children through school districts and San Diego County’s behavioral health Service. She also maintains a private practice.
