Marvel Comics luminaries Stan Lee and Roy Thomas will join director Kevin Smith on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2 p.m., at the Hammer Museum for a discussion of the venerable publisher’s long history. A Q&A and book signing of Thomas’s new book, "75 Years of Marvel: From the Golden Age to the Silver Screen," will follow the discussion. The book offers an inside look not only at Marvel’s 75 years of celebrated characters, but also at the behind-the-scenes craftsmen whose names are almost as familiar as the heroes they brought to life.
The program will be streamed live on the museum’s website. Admission is free.
