Dean Ho, professor of bioengineering at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science,has been elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE). He is also on faculty at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he co-directs the Jane and Jerry Weintraub Center for Reconstructive Biotechnology.
The AIMBE membership is comprised of the top 2 percent of biological and medical engineers in the country, representing approximately 1,500 distinguished members from the academic, business and government sectors. Election is made following rigorous review by a peer committee and subsequent formal vote by the general membership.
The 2015 class of AIMBE fellows was inducted during the organization's annual meeting at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C.
