How would you feel if you could present your point of view more persuasively? Whether we are motivating colleagues, conveying information to constituents or collaborating with people inside and outside our organizations, we can all benefit from better communication skills.
Toastmasters International is an organization that enables members to improve communication skills in a safe, encouraging and supportive environment. UCLA Anderson School of Management now has a Toastmasters club, called Anderson Speak Easy, which meets the first and third Friday of every month. The group is an ideal place to work through your fears of speaking in public and to practice your presentation skills.
