Let go of stress and enhance your physical and psychological well-being with Bruin MindFit, a new program offered free of cost and exclusively to faculty and staff by UCLA Recreation. The course is appropriate for individuals of all fitness levels who are ready to cultivate everyday wellness with a daily practice of mindful movement and meditation.
Starting Jan. 26 and continuing for 12 weeks in two hour-long sessions each week, you’ll learn the basics of and practice meditation, breathing (pranayama), yoga movement, relaxation, walking and everyday mindfulness. A selection of class days, times and campus locations is offered. Participants will be chosen in a lottery drawing of applications. Applications are due by Jan. 14.
