Nonny de la Peña, founder of Emblematic Group, will speak Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m. on the use of digital reality technologies in journalism and story-telling. These technologies, such as virtual reality or interactive news stories, help foster intense, empathic engagement on the part of viewers.
There will be an opportunity to experience virtual reality at stations in the museum before and after the program.
All Hammer programs are free, but tickets are required for this event. You may reserve tickets at the box office one hour before the program. General admission tickets are available one per person on a first come, first served basis following member ticketing. Early arrival is recommended.
