Among them, Danielle Salomon, interim head of Powell Library, recommends "100 Sideways Miles," of which he writes: "A super-funny and sweet story about a teenage boy who shares unique traits with a character in his father’s best-selling book, complicating his search for his own identity. I loved this book because it made me laugh out loud and fall in love with the characters."
And Nina Mamikunian, humanities and social sciences liaison librarian at Young Research Library, recommends "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" "Philip K. Dick," she writes, "explores love and empathy in a post-apocalyptic world. This science fiction classic questions what it means to be human, what it means to feel, and what is worth living for."
