The Hammer is inviting all families in the Los Angeles area to its courtyard to reflect on the timeless question: Why does art matter?
The event, “Look Together: Why Does Art Matter?,” will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24, and provide families with an opportunity to explore art together for an afternoon. Artwork themes will be on display in a thoughtful atmosphere that will help families understand better the pivotal role art plays in the world.
Sponsored by the Pritzker Family Foundation through Hammer Kids, the event is free, and limited space is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. Parking is available at the museum for $3 on the weekend. See this for more information.
