Join the audience assembling in the music library at Schoenberg Hall  from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. for a 45-minute set of original music written by the members of the ensemble from the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance at UCLA, followed by an open jam session. Instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome.

Selected by Herbie Hancock, Herb Alpert, Wayne Shorter, Kenny Burrell and James Newton, the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance Ensemble studies with legendary jazz artists in this two-year program. Members include:
