Jody Priselac, executive director of Center X teacher training program in the UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies (GSE&IS) and associate dean for community programs, has been named the recipient of UCLA Staff Assembly's 2014 Faculty/Staff Partnership Award. This award is given to annually to a faculty member who actively develops and encourages partnerships between faculty and staff, fulfilling the UC systemwide mission of supporting faculty/staff collaboration across UC campuses. The award is given by UCLA Staff Assembly

Priselac has 30 years of experience as a high school mathematics educator, professional development leader, teacher educator and educational researcher. She earned her Ph.D. at UCLA in education, specializing in elementary mathematics. She has developed, coordinated and studied numerous professional development programs funded by a variety of agencies and foundations, and has spoken nationally on mathematics education, teacher preparation, and university and school partnerships.
