Enjoy a great bike ride and help UCLA’s Blood and Platelet Center get a new Bloodmobile while you’re at it: The 19th annual City of Angels Funr Ride on Sunday, May 22 offers a choice of two routes — rides, not races — both of which start and finish at UCLA’s campus in Westwood.
A 32-mile recreational ride will roll along at a relaxed pace through Hollywood, Echo Park, downtown L.A., Century City and back to Westwood. A more ambitious 62-mile route takes riders through Hollywood, Griffith Park, Elysian Park by Dodger Stadium, Chinatown, Union Station, Little Tokyo and more. Both rides conclude back on campus with a free lunch. Registration includes a T-shirt, raffle ticket and finisher medal.
