Accomplished photographic and video artist Judy Fiskin will respond to questions from the audience at the Billy Wilder Theater on Tuesday, July 1, following a 7:30 p.m. screening of three films from her 2011 exhibition, “All Six Films” at Angles Gallery.
The films include “My Getty Center;” a chronicle of the winter when El Niño and the Getty Center came to Los Angeles at the same time; “50 Ways to Set the Table;” which documents a peculiar L.A. County Fair event known as “tablescaping;” and “Guided Tour,” which sets two docent talks against images of art that have no relationship to the art that is being discussed.
The event will be free, but tickets must be obtained from the box office, which opens at 6:30 p.m. No reservations accepted. FInd more information at the UCLA Hammer Museum.
