The UCLA Film and Television Archive hosts an Archive Treasure screening of nitrate print films with the program “Nitrate Treasures: Night Has a Thousand Eyes.”
The films include: “News of the Day” (1948), a short film that details the historical events that occurred during that time; “Little Brown Jug” (1948), a cartoon short about a mischievous squirrel’s effect on a forest; and “Night Has a Thousand Eyes” (1948), a film noir about a man’s newly developed psychic capabilities.
"Nitrate Treasures" will screen Sunday, June 11, at 7 p.m. in the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum.
