UCLA School of Law professor Kal Raustiala, director of the UCLA Ronald Burkle Center for International Relations and faculty director, UCLA International Education Office, has been elected a vice president of the American Society of International Law.
The society fosters the study of international law and promotes the establishment and maintenance of international relations on the basis of law and justice. A volunteer-led organization, its officers and governing executive council are elected by a membership comprised of attorneys, academics, judges, students and others with expertise or interest in international law.
