Kyrie Bass new director of planning, performance, development for H&HS

Kyrie Bass has been promoted to the position of director of organizational planning, performance and development for UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services (H&HS). She will serve as as liaison between operational and administrative divisions within H&HS to ensure that strategic goals and objectives are met within the organization and the greater campus community. She will also oversee the training and development manager position and will be accountable for implementing department-wide training, talent development and organizational development efforts.

For the past year, Bass has held the role of senior manager for administrative projects and communication in H&HS, collaborating with directors on climate assessment survey and action planning, strategic initiatives, custom research projects and pre-opening tasks for the Luskin Conference Center.

Bass previously served as training and development manager and marketing and public relations manager at UCLA Events and Transportation. She is a graduate of UCLA's Professional Development Program, was 2008-09 president of UCLA Staff Assembly and is a member of UCLA's Prytanean Alumnae Network.
