Take your family to the Fowler Museum to meet an 11-foot python, 100-pound tortoise, exotic birds, reptiles, lizards and more at “Meet the Animals” on Sunday, May 1, 2-4 p.m. Participants are also invited to create a scarf featuring their own inventive creatures.
The Kids in the Courtyard event is tied in with the Fowler exhibition, “Spirits in the Loom,” filled with beautiful woven textiles embellished with supernatural serpents, elephants and birds, which closes on Sunday.
Admission to the museum and the event are free.
