In recognition of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) communities during Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the NHPI Data Policy Lab at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research will host a free webinar to share new visualization tools that provide detailed county-level data on health and social drivers of health among these communities.
The tools, which include a social determinants of health dashboard and county-level data profiles, feature NHPI-specific data from multiple sources. The dashboard features California county-level data on health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma and psychological distress; access to care; insurance status; income and poverty level; housing; education; disability; veteran status; and more.
NHPI Data Policy Lab members will be joined by NHPI community leaders from two organizations, who will talk about their community and work, and the importance of disaggregated data and access to that data.
