What psychological factors influence voters’ beliefs and behavior? Three researchers present their findings at Ballot Behavior: Politics and Psychology, Monday, May 23, 4- 6 p.m. at the California NanoSystems Institute auditorium. The presentations will be followed by a discussion with the audience and a reception.

Free and open to the public, the event is presented by Psychology in Action, an organization founded by UCLA psychology doctoral students to communicate psychological research to community members and others outside of the field.

The participating researchers are: 

  • Jesse Graham, assistant professor of psychology, USC
  • Kerri L. Johnson, associate professor of communication studies, UCLA
  • Jane Junn, professor of political science, USC

David Sears, Distinguished Professor of Psychology at UCLA, will moderate the discussion.
