UCLA campus leaders — including faculty, managers and senior professional staff — are invited to participate in the 2014-15 Management Seminar Series, “Transformational Leadership: The Art of Influence.”
The series is presented by Campus Human Resources Training and Development in partnership with UCLA Anderson’s Executive Education Program. Designed to strengthen management competencies to effectively lead a diverse workforce in a fast-changing and challenging work environment, it features presentations by national experts in their fields and interactive dialogue with campus peers and colleagues. This year’s program brings acclaimed contributors delivering seminars on contemporary and evolving topics.
Four quarterly sessions, all at UCLA Anderson, Room A201, are being offered:
- “Leader as a Coach” with John Ullmen, who lectures on leadership for UCLA Anderson, on Nov. 12, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
- “Emotional Intelligence” with psychologist Jorge Cherbosque, director of UCLA Staff and Faculty Counseling Center, on Jan. 27, 2015, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
- “Change Leadership” with Jorja Leap, adjunct professor of social welfare at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, on March 10, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
- “Cultural Competence,” with leadership development expert Robin Johnson, on April 21, 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Package enrollments will have priority, since space is limited.
