Get an insider's view of a state-of-the-art nanomaterials development lab and clean room facilities, and hear from researchers about groundbreaking developments in nanotechnology at UCLA Manufacturing Day, Friday, Oct. 2, 1-4 p.m. at the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI).
Participants will learn how UCLA, CNSI, and the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Sciences provide access to a collection of leading-edge, core technology centers that foster innovation in the manufacture of new materials, systems and devices.
Facilities to be open for visits will be CNSI’s Integrated Systems NanoFabrication Cleanroom, the Integrated NanoMaterials Lab (INML) and the NanoElectronics Research Facility, a development lab that utilizes molecular beam epitaxy to grow new materials with atomic-scale precision.
The event is free and open to attendees from all levels of academia and industry. Light refreshments and raffle prizes will be available.
