Farzad Amoozegar-Fassaie, who has played the tar and setar since childhood, and other musicians give a free performance at the UCLA Fowler Museum on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m.
Joining him will be oud player Gabriel Lavin and Rahul Neuman, an accomplished sitar player and director of UCLA’s Music of Indian Ensemble, among other musicians, performing music from the North Indian, Iranian and Arabic traditions.
