Join the Hammer museum for the Kids' Art Museum Project (K.A.M.P.) on Sunday, May 18, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event provides a rare opportunity for kids to participate in hands-on demonstrations and projects with prominent sculptors, painters and architects from Los Angeles. The artists, many of whom have had their work featured at UCLA's Hammer Museum, will lead workshops for children in the museum's courtyard. There will also be a "story time" featuring celebrity readers such as Conan O'Brien, Jessica Alba and Armie Hammer. All proceeds from the event will go towards further developing Hammer Kids Programming.
To buy tickets and for more information on kids' programming at the Hammer, see K.A.M.P.'s website.
