Edward Keenan, professor of linguistics at UCLA, received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
The organization provides comprehensive biographical data and coverage of the lives of today’s leaders and achievers from around the world. This award is given to Marquis Who’s Who biographees that have demonstrated leadership, excellence and longevity within their respective industries and professions.
Keenan’s research interests focus on language typology, historical English and theoretical syntax. He has been a part of UCLA faculty since 1974.
