Brian Benson, director of entrepreneurship and commercialization at Magnify — the California NanoSystems Institute’s incubator at UCLA, has been honored with a Life Science Catalyst Award from Biocom, the largest trade association representing California’s life sciences industry.
One of seven Los Angeles-area recipients of the third annual awards, Benson has been recognized for spurring innovation and growth in the life science industry. The program celebrates up-and-coming entrepreneurs, academics, investors, corporate leaders and business advisers, who make contributions to Southern California’s life science industry prior to reaching their 40th birthday.
With leadership from Benson, Magnify supports companies from UCLA and the greater Los Angeles area and accelerates the growth of technology startups by providing high-quality, affordable facilities, services and expertise.
