Thirteen randomly selected staff members will join Chancellor Gene Block for breakfast and an informal discussion Monday, Jan.23. The event is organized by UCLA Staff Assembly and will be held from 8:30-10 a.m.
All staff members who have at least one year of service and currently hold career or contract appointments may apply to attend the breakfast. Those classified as Senior Management Group are not eligible. To ensure that the maximum number may participate, those selected to attend may not apply again. However, those who have applied but not been selected may apply for future breakfasts.
Complete the online application at http://ucla.in/2hBKSKi by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10. The application is very short and only takes a few minutes to complete. If your application is selected, you will be notified by Friday, Jan. 13. Supervisors of those selected to attend will be notified and are encouraged to grant sufficient release time for the breakfast, provided the absence would not infringe upon the performance of required job duties.
