The California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) is inviting everyone to come to its Core Lab Open House on Tuesday Oct. 21. Spend some time learning about compelling science and the world-class laboratories that make CNSI such a special place.
Attendees must RSVP to cnsievents@cnsi.ucla.edu. Presentations run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., when faculty and technical directors from each of the core labs will present an overview of their research and the equipment in their labs.
Then tour the labs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Levels B, A, and 2 of the CNSI building will be open, and staff will be on hand to highlight each lab’s specialty. From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. there will also be demonstrations of CNSI's Equipment Reservation System, an online registration system that allows approved users to reserve core lab equipment at their convenience.
