Professors Ian Larkin, Danny Oppenheimer and Bruce Carlin of the UCLA Anderson School of Management have been recognized by the school for excellence in teaching, research, leadership and mentorship.
Larkin, an assistant professor in the school's strategy group, has received the Dean George W. Robbins Assistant Professor Teaching Award. He teaches M.B.A. and F.E.M.B.A. students and consistently received some of the highest teaching ratings in the school.
Oppenheimer, a professor of marketing and psychology, received the Citibank Teaching Award. He teaches the core M.B.A. course in marketing management and undergraduate introductory psychology. Oppenheimer receives outstanding evaluations from his students and is particularly lauded for his teaching style, care for students, world-class expertise and professionalism.
Carlin, associate professor of finance, was honored with the Neidorf “Decade” Teaching Award. He has built up a legendary reputation for the quality of his teaching during his time at Anderson. According to his students, he has a gift for making complex concepts clear and for creating a classroom conducive to collaborative conversation.
