Amjad Ezzour, a student affairs officer in the Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) program at UCLA Anderson School of Management, received the 2014 Abraham Ackerman Staff Excellence Award. The annual award honors the memory of Abraham Ackerman, who worked for UCLA Anderson for more than 40 years.
Ezzour was recognized during a ceremony at Korn Hall on June 26. Also honored were three recipients of Mary and Pete Petersen Staff Enrichment Awards: Deborah Shin of the FEMBA Program, Kate Ceredona of the Ziman Center and Damaris Aguirre of Staff Personnel.
Said Anderson School Dean Judy Olian to all who attended the ceremony, "You are the face for us. You are Anderson. You are UCLA — maybe for the entirety of that person’s experience.”
