Learn how to safeguard the health of your family at Liver Diseases: Update 2014, a free educational seminar presented by UCLA's Pfleger Liver Institute, Prominent and respected specialists will offer patients, families and members of the community information on hepatitis and other liver diseases during the informative half-day seminar on Saturday, Sept. 6, 8 a.m.–12 noon, at UCLA’s James West Alumni Center (map). Free continental breakfast will be provided from 8 to 8:30 a.m.
UCLA speakers will include:
- Dr. Sammy Saab, professor of medicine and surgery, assistant professor of nursing
- Dr. Francisco Durazo, associate clinical professor of medicine and surgery
- Dr. Steven-Huy Han, professor of medicine and surgery
