John Villasenor

John Villasenor holds appointments in the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science and the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. Villasenor's research focuses on the intersections of technology and public policy, including the challenges associated with cybersecurity, virtual currencies and emerging payment methods, cloud computing, drones, medical imaging and digital copyright policy.

Villasenor is a non-resident fellow at the Brookings Institution and he writes frequently for several national general interest publications.
