Green, a prolific author whose research has focused on on Muslims in Asia, Africa and Europe, has been named UCLA’s first Ibn Khaldun Endowed Chair in World History.
The announcement by Los Angeles officials that the city would recycle 100 percent of its wastewater by 2035 aligns with the UCLA Sustainable LA Grand Challenge.
