Tuesday's election brought out different emotions. For some, it was excitement about the future. And for others, the results may have caused feelings of dismay. Student Affairs and UCLA student organizations are hosting events and offering opportunities for anyone who wants to discuss Tuesday’s election results, reflect on what’s happened and share their thoughts.

Today, Nov. 9:

  • The Undergraduate Student Association Office of the Transfer Student Representative will host a safe space in Kerckhoff 313 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The LGBT Resource Center, located in the Student Activities Center, is offering a time and place for reflection, conversation, food and self-care activities until 6 p.m.
  • The Undocumented Student Program will be hosting safe and supportive space in the Student Activities Center, Room B52, until 5 p.m.
  • The Bruin Resource Center, located in the Student Activities Center, Room B44, is offering to connect with any staff or student who would like to drop in and talk.
  • There will be a post-election open discussion held today in DeNeve Auditorium from 6 to 9 p.m. to talk about factors that decided the election as well as what can be expected in the future.
  • The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is hosting space for conversation in Kerckhoff 109 throughout the day.
  • UCLA Black Resident Assistants and the Afrikan Diaspora Floor will hold a Harambee Healing Space tonight from 8 to 10 p.m in Rieber Hall.

Thursday, Nov. 10:

  • The Young Progressives Demanding Action at UCLA is hosting a rally in Meyerhoff Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • The Mother Org Coalition presents “Healing Together” from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Pauley Pavilion Club.
  • A special CrossCheck Live event, “Processing the Election,” will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Royce Hall.
  • The Dream Resource Center at the UCLA Labor Center will host a “Talking Stick Circle” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the center’s downtown Los Angeles office, 675 S. Park View Street.

Monday, Nov. 14:

  • There will be a post-election reflection for international students and scholars from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Bradley International Hall, Room 300 AB.
