In order to make way for construction of the Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference and Guest Center, Parking Structure 6 will close July 1, according to UCLA Events and Transportation. On July 8, the Ackerman turnaround will close and remain inaccessible through the summer of 2016.
 
When Parking Structure 6 is no longer available, visitors will be able to park on the top level of structure 8. Motorcycle parking has been added to structure 9, Level 1.
 
With the closure of the Ackerman turnaround, all deliveries, pick-ups and drop-offs will need to relocate to other areas.
 
Bus stops at the Ackerman turnaround will be relocated to the following locations:
 
BruinBus:
     • University Apartment Shuttles: Med Plaza/NPI Stop
 
Santa Monica Big Blue Bus:
     • BBB Rapid 12: Med Plaza and Charles E. Young/Manning
     • All Other BBB Buses
            7 a.m.-8 p.m. weekdays: Hilgard Bus Terminal
            8 p.m.-7 a.m. weekdays and weekends: Med Plaza and Charles E. Young/Manning
 
Culver CityBus:
     • Rapid 6 and Local 6: Med Plaza pick-up and drop-off on east side of Westwood Plaza
 
Metro:
     • Lines 2/302: Westwood/Le Conte
