The UCLA women's basketball team partnered with Samaritan's Feet and the Dream Center to put new shoes on the feet of students at Rosemont Elementary School in the Rampart/Echo Park area of Los Angeles. The team provided mini-pedicures, new socks and athletic shoes. Roughly 550 pairs of new shoes came from Bruin fans attending the Bruins' game with Oklahoma on Nov. 24 and other donors. Among them were Sooners women's basketball players from the University of Oklahoma, who brought 100 pairs of new shoes with them from Norman, Okla., and handed them off to UCLA prior to the tip-off.Watch footage of the event from UCLA Athletics:
