UCLA volunteers fanned out across L.A. on Saturday, Sept. 27, rolling up their sleeves to make a difference and remind Bruins and the city why service is at heart of the university’s mission.

Chancellor Frenk and Felicia Knaul got their first taste of move-in, greeting some of the 15,000 new and returning Bruins at their residence halls on the Hill.
With the fall quarter beginning, the chancellor shared a message with the campus community about UCLA’s continuing commitment to educate, discover and serve.
